Running for Cover

The day started with an old Elco (we think) run aground on the wrong side of Sandy Pt green mark.

We were able to broad reach down the Bay once in it. A couple of Canadian Fisheries Patrol Boats passed behind us as we crossed the Rappahannock entrance. Their paint scheme turned them invisible in less than a mile. Made it into Fishing Bay ahead of the impending storm. When we anchored behind the long spit we were in company with about six other cruisers.

The ceiling lowered toward sunset and showers arrived. It got progressively WINDIER as the night marched on.
