A Logistics Day.
Fortunately, we were going the other direction [from the Festival] for required shopping. Stowing groceries increased our draft another inch. The thunderstorms to our north and west today looked like Robert McCall’s Smithsonian murals. When we got back to the boat a brilliant (with polarized sunglasses) Sun Dog 50 miles wide lit the sky. It was so bright it looked like the Aurora Borealis. The aqua shade was particularly intense. The camera got the data but the picture had to be manipulated to show it. Thus the double picture above.
