For some time now, we have seen a fellow working on a boat on our dock. We’ve exchanged pleasantries but haven’t wanted to interrupt him. The more I saw him, the more I thought, “I know this guy.”
Yesterday, we finally met him and ended up talking for an hour and a half! He was the electrician/engine mechanic who commissioned our boat at Hartge’s in Galesville back in 2005. He now winters in Vero and lives aboard his Landfall 43 in Galesville in the summer.
We’ve blogged about the smallness of this cruising community. Just more evidence. Some how I think “six degrees of separation” is less on the water.
