Yo, Ho, Ho and half a cup of soy sauce plus…
- a quarter cup of light cooking oil (EVOO is a waste)
- 1 medium chopped onion, diced
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Mix well, put in bag/container, add the meat, then massage it into the meat. Let it work one to four hours in refrigeration. Discard used marinade. Works best with light meats and seafood. Rice vinegar is optional and better saved to perk up a sauce made from the same mixture and reduced by half.
